My must have beauty products for Spring

A few days of sun finally appearing after a long winter?, I’m here for it. However, with the weather being so unpredictable still I want my products to be able to hold up as well on a misty, rainy day as they would on a bright, crisp, Spring day. I’ve put together a little collection here of my must have beauty products for Spring; From Skincare to haircare it’s all here.

So I’m going to dive straight in with my favourite part, the makeup. I want my make-up to be a little more fresh for Spring, I do want my makeup to be fairly weather proof for the time being though so I’ll be keeping aside some of my winter staples until the weather clears up a little.

Starting with my base products I’m loving the Too faced born this way foundation, I think this one will work well for Spring because it gives a nice even finish but it still feels light on the skin. I’ve been using this for a few weeks and it does generally stay put well which is a bonus for this time of year. I did do a full review on this foundation a couple of weeks back if you want to read more about it.

I’ve been loving the Sleek contour trio I’ve been using the blush and highlighter out of this little trio and they’re such perfect shades for me (even though I’m super pale). I think this one is the perfect little trio for Spring, it gives such a lovely glow and it’s compact enough to carry around with you.

Of course no look would be complete without a good lippy. I’ve picked out two for this post, a matte and a gloss. So for the matte I’ve picked out the Bourjois velvet liquid lisptick in ‘Nude-ist’. This lipstick is a perfect pink nude, it looks so lovely against the Sleek trio blush / highlighter. It holds up well and it applies nicely as well, the perfect budget liquid lippy. For the gloss, I’ve picked out the Floss Gloss in ‘my new favourite lipgloss’. Coming from someone that hates gloss, I absolutely love this gloss. It’s such a pretty colour and it’s the perfect shade for Spring.

I’ve also been really enjoying the Nivea Raspberry lip balm which I usually repurchase a lot around Spring time and I absolutely love it. There’s such a sweet smell to it and it’s really hydrating as well. It’s a must have for me this time of year.

There’s one thing for definite I’ll be taking into Spring with me in terms of haircare. Though Spring I’ll likely be styling my hair a fair bit so I want to make sure I’m not causing too much damage to it, I got a sample of Moroccan oil in a glossybox a few months ago and I really recommend it all year around, A little touch of this after styling gives you such a nice glossy look and I feel like it just revives my hair a little after using heat.

For Skincare I’m going to recommend the Garnier summer glow lotion, It’s not as bold as a full tan but it still gives a lovely bronzed glow which is perfect for Spring. I’ve been using this for a while now and it’s become such a staple in my collection.

I’ve also been gravitating towards the Netrogena clear and defend range when it comes to skincare at the moment. I’m finding the range to be really hydrating whilst not being ‘too much’ for my oily skin. A lot of the products are oil free as well which helps and the range is very affordable.
