My personal goals for June

2020 has been one of the most challenging, stressful years and it’s only June. I’ve personally let everything affect me just a little bit too much and if I’m being honest, I’m in a little bit of a rut (hence the lack of posts around here recently) but ultimately I think I needed to because it’s given me that push I’ve needed to essentially sort out my shit. I’ve put together a few goals I’ve got for June and I thought I’d share them with you, I’d love to hear your goals as well.

Really commit to therapy

I haven’t really spoken about this over here but I have had CBT twice, I feel like I didn’t give it a proper go and I held a lot back but I’m giving it another go and I’m actually doing it online which I’m starting next week, if you’d like a post on this when I have completed it sort of how it all works etc, Please let me know because I’m really new to it and it does feel a little strange doing it online.

Start saving where I can

One thing I’ve struggled with this years is where I live, I won’t go into detail but I really want to move and of course, the only way I can achieve that is by saving, we’re looking to go down the shared ownership route so we’re just trying to save where I can and if you’d like to know a little bit more about how I’m saving and where I’m cutting costs I can do a post about that.

Finding hobbies that I’ll stick too

I’m generally someone who switches hobbies quite a lot, just purely because I never pick hobbies that I end up sticking too. I really want to find a couple of hobbies that I can really stick too and that’ll just help me to relax really, I’ve started acrylic painting which I’m loving and I’m hoping that’ll be something I have the motivation to stick too. If you have any suggestions please do let me know.

Start Taking care of myself

As I mentioned I have generally found myself in a little rut and I’m not really looking after myself if I’m being honest, I really want to get back to a point where my self-care is my priority and I’m taking care of myself like I should be.
